Bruce e Chris Amon vincono la 24h di Le Mans su Ford GT40 Mk 2 (a sorpresa perché doveva vincere l'altro equipaggio che però frenò in parata, tra l'altro fu l'arrivo più risicato in tutta la storia della 24h di Le Mans). Sul palco anche Henry Ford II.
